Hello everyone!  I'm Fai and it's a pleasure to meet you.  I'm pretty bad at introductions so I ask you for mercy.  MERCY~  

I've been playing Otome games for a little while and recently found this site.  If you have any suggestions (your must plays if you will) then please share!  I'm also trying to learn Japanese so I would appreciate your help in that as well.

As for myself, I'm still in college with no clue what to go for.  I enjoy animes/mangas and I'm a huge gamer.  Feel free to add me on Steam/PSN/Origin.  My username is the same for everything (FaiNekoi).

I'm really looking forward to finally having someone to talk about Otome games!

And I would sugest your start with the Starry Sky series since you are beggining to learn the language and it helps a lot

suggestions to help with Japanese 
buy a Japanese language book 
also a book on hiragana and etc.
once you study for a while 
practice with  otome games with more mellow text/less text someone already suggested starry sky since it has both voice and text (there still may be some hard words here and there but hey try your best~)
you can even have both your language hand books with you while your playing otome games hope that helps (:

Oh my!  Hello~  A fan of RF too?  I have to admit, I was more of a Harvest Moon fan until RF4 came out.  I've been play Otome games since Princess Debut but I've been playing visual novels for longer than that (since Phantom of Inferno game out).  It's only recently that I've gotten pretty heavy into them.

As for Japanese books, I have several from classes I've had. I actually took two years of it at my old college and even one year of Chinese to help with kanji.  I'm afraid it's been a couple of years since I've actively studied it so I forgot quite a bit.
