I was so glad to hear that this was actually being green-lit.

Of course, it's already gotten some back lash from KyoAni fanboys who are complaining that the company betrayed them because they are putting out something intended more for female viewers =_= Oh well, you are always going to find idiots, no matter where you go...

I think the animation looks a little less pretty now that is becoming a whole anime season, but it still looks like it will be worth watching.

Who wants to bet that this will be the basis for the next anime fad? XD

I was extremely skeptical because of the first CM, it was just so...COOL, and now that it's been given a chance I think it's amazing and is excited to see what could be made. I really hope this goes well for them!!

Oh dear, I already see lots of cynicism towards this because of the fan-service, the swimming, but I'm gonna try to enjoy it regardless. I mean it is going to have some story behind it so hopefully it won't be too bad! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I'm excited that they're actually making this into an anime! I tend to really like sports series, and I've liked a majority of what I've watched from KyoAni. So, this series totally is in my strike zone! Also, the seiyuu cast list looks great. (•‾⌣‾•)

Everything was perfect when they added the megane. I feel bad because "pimp-kun" is now the rival but weeelll, oh well?

That dating sim is so perfect, everything about it is beautiful especially that line.

I honestly can't tell if I'm more excited for the anime itself or for the opportunity to watch Tumblr react to it.

I played the dating sim beta last night, and oh my god.

I swear to god, when tumblr jumps on stuff, it's kinda scary. It is how I was introduced to it though, sorta.

Personally I'd be totally fine if there was no romance and if it was a straightforward sports anime. Everything doesn't have to be shippy and pairing-y! Tsubasa Yonaga is playing Nagisa, though, so I have a feeling we'll have the swimming version of Ookiku Furikabutte, which is damn fine by me.

Knowing KyoAni it's going to be CUTE BOYS DOING DUMB THINGS instead of CUTE GIRLS DOING DUMB THINGS, though, so whatever.

Swimming Anime is the most elaborate commercial for KyoAni i've ever seen.

no I meant that the show actually being announced was the joke as originally the first announcement was just a commercial for Kyoto Animation

I can't believe this is becoming real. After all the hype and facts that it's "just a commercial" I thought we would just have another disappointed fandom. *sigh* But then WOW! It's real! And it's soon!!! I can't wait. >w<
