Hakuouki Demon of the Fleeting Blossom

I'm really happy this game got licensed, if it weren't for the PSP I would not have discovered Kazama's adorable side :oops:

So who played the game?
Which guy route did you liked the most?

I've played only a little bit of it, but I'm just blown away by the quality I played the original a long time ago, so my motivation is kind of low...

Still playing this but I really liked Souji's route and Kazama's route. Souji's route made me cry

Played this. /o/ Haven't finished all of the routes tho. Hijikata and Saitou left. But I dropped this since new games keep coming orz;;

Happened to me too on my first play through with Souji. I couldn't take it so I had to replay and get a happy ending just to put my heart at ease. And when I tried playing Sano and Saito later....it was heartbreaking how Souji was barely even there.....

I played all the routes except Sano and Heisuke (I got lazy XD), and I loved it lots~ All the characters in this game so damn lovable...I spent so much time wailing every time something bad (read:death) happened to any of them ToT
Favorite character is a certain quiet yet adorable left handed swordman- as if you couldn't tell already from my sig

I played this on the DS and the English version on the PSP. I loved Okita and Sano's routes.

I would love Heisuke more but he just looks... so young. Well yeah he's not that young but man, the shota feels.. I can't ;A;

That he was :twisted: He was the one who improved most from their Western Style Makeover.

i love Souji's character..hes my favorite. lovely happy end although kind of sad (i kinda thought he died during the last part)
Sano's route was the sweetest...(hands down)
Hijikata's route was way too long and i wasnt able to comprehend much of it during the last part but i love his happy end.
Hajime's ending by the snow and the name thing was really sweet..
Heisuke's ending was cute..although its my least favorite out of the bunch.
I love Chikage's route...it was unexpected but i was glad i stumbled to it.
And Chikage's other end (the one which u did not end up with him MADE ME CRY A LOT)...

To make it short, i love all of them!
the story was amazing, although it really lacked romance. the story's focus was more on the shinsengumi's struggle and i kinda wanted more focus on the heroines "true identity".

I've played the entire series, I was totally obsessed with Hakuouki for a while -- not quite so much anymore but I still love it to pieces.

The only thing that sucks for me is my favorite character is Sannan. :D;;a At least he gets routes in Zuisouroku and Yuugiroku 2... sort of sigh...

Of the captureable characters I love Hijikata so much. Close seconds are Souji and Kazama. I kind of like Heisuke, and I'm a bit bored by Saitou and Harada unfortunately... regardless of my feelings for the guys however, every one of their routes was amazing. I think Hakuouki is definitely more about the story than the romance. It's just a series of great epic stories and when playing I could never put it down.

Hakuouki isn't one of my all time favorite games, but I do have my favorite bishie from it.

Kazama surprised me in the end with his route. I ended up loving him to pieces. I felt so much more free on his route, unlike the others. That's important to me in real life, so he won me over in the short span of time his route takes up. At first his attitude bothered me, but he seems to meet Chizuru halfway in the end. I liked his humor too which is important as well XD. He also didn't treat her as a weak female, but as a proud oni that is capable of taking care of herself. Kudos to Kazama.

Yeah I thought Kazama was a really interesting character; I was always sad they didn't go into his backstory more... the little hints you get about it in the drama CDs (him facing all those assassination attempts and etc) are very interesting. When you first meet him he just seems like a run of the mill asshole, but it becomes clear that he's just very single-minded and feels an overwhelming duty to his people... well, depending on the route, anyway... But even wanting to have all those babies with Chizuru is basically for the good of the oni race's continuation, since there are so few purebloods left. I find him kind of sad when it gets down to it -- it seems like his status has left him very alone among the oni, he can't trust the humans, and all he really has to his name are his obligations as clan head. ......I'd probably want to slack off too if I were him lol.

I almost forgot about that part about survival of his clan. His Clan was forced to return the favor. Damn Chizuru..so lucky to have Kazama following her around. I already imagine him clinging around her when she gets to visit his place..hahaha

My top three would be Okita, Heisuke and Sano. My first route was Okita, and on my first try I got the worst of worst endings... I just... no, I couldn't... I had to take some time to calm down before making it to the good ending. (´；д；`)
Heisuke was second, he was easier to "please" and his route leaves cavities! (‘∀’●)♡ Quite the band-aid after my first failure.
And awww, Sano ~~ that ending heals the heart! It cheers you right up. ♥（ﾉ´∀`）

I fell in love with Sano-san after playing the psp...(implied smut scene..lol) （ﾉ´∀`）

One more reason to be glad the heroine isn't really me. Although with their lifespan I guess 10 babies isn't asking that much. It's not like they have to have them back-to-back.

I liked every route... but I just can't stop loving Saitou's <3 <3

Didn't really Heisuke's voice >< too high for me lol...
I didn't really enjoy the game though, maybe because there's too much history-related stuff? O.o
