Summary: Taking place during the early stages of the Edo period, this is Rejet’s first Japanese-inspired tale. Kayo, our heroine, is the daughter of a food & tea houseliving with her father. One day, she was asked an odd favor by the Princess of Sunpu Castellan, to take her place in a marriage promenade. Because Kayo and the Princess are splitting images of each other….

Bewildered, but with her mind set, Kayo departs on her journey from Tokaido region with six samurai for bodyguards on the marriage promenade to Edo, Hakone, Mishima, up till the destination in Sunpu.

And so, the wheel of destiny begins to spin.

On the way towards Edo, she becomes caught up in youkai with destructive abilities, as well as the ‘Sword Retrieving Imperial Match’ that concerns the legendary five great swords, which is really a cover for a sickening ritual being performed…..

Through the criss-crossing and intertwining of paths, finally the road splits into two.
One, living with the sword in the path of war.
Two, living with you in the path of peace.

The destiny they find their way through to is……?——

Ahhhh Ken ga Kimi! <3 I want to play this game! The music is beautiful and the art is just stunning... And knowing it's rejet that's making the game, it's bound to be good... (biased /bricked)

And the seiyuu cast... ahhhh rejet can take my money too!

When I first knew about this game, I just fell in love with the music, it's so beautiful! *0* Well, being Rejet the maker, I supposed it would have a great cast and amazing art, so I knew I was going to play it.

All of that + japanese history = *THROWS WALLET AT REJET*

You know right? It's Rejet we're talking about, so expect tons of fanservice, yandere, do-s and major nosebleed/ovaries exploding, not that I care though.

Wow! I thoght it was just a drama CD series, so I'm happy to hear it's a game actually But Rejet... Does that mean wicked story!? The art seems nice, but then again, DiaLo also had nice art and look what happened... >~<

This game is on my list of "must have games".

I want to play Suzukake's route really bad. A guy raised by ayakashi is just the sort of thing that reels me in. He's bound to have some cool abilities.

The only character I don't know if I will like is the spy, Enishi. He looks and sounds like a player. That's just not my thing. All the others look fantastic though.

Since I'm fairly active on VNDb, I've been stalking the official website for a damn release date! So yes, I must say I've been paying attention to what's been going on with Ken ga Kimi's sit.

Anyway, first impressions: I love the art style; watercolour-like looks are gorgeous, and fits in with the wafuu setting so well.

I have to agree with you, here. If a guy chooses to be a player, whatever. However, I just don't like player types because a lot of their conflict/resolution is the same tried-and-tested formula as other player-like characters, thus, rarely offering anything truly interesting as a major point of character development. They can be amusing and "eroi", but beyond that, they often lose out to the better-developed characters surrounding them.

Maybe I should have more faith since Rejet is involved, and they make excellent games.

The BGM on the site for this game is simply gorgeous. I keep opening the site on another tab just to keep the BGM playing in the background. Hopefully the rest of the music is this beautiful.

This could be a soundtrack that could rival BWS'. I love traditional Japanese music, anyhow.

Also, sorry for the double post, but the website has announced a release date: 29th August, 2013.

YEP, this game is just for the PC.

I'm so excited after hearing the voice samples. I was pretty much able to guess how all of them would sound except for Tsuzuramaru. He threw me for a loop. It was a pleasant surprise though.

Even though I'm not a fan of Enishi's type of character I love his seiyuu. UGH, REJET LEAVES ME NO CHOICE BUT TO PLAY ALL THE ROUTES!
