Ever heard about this everyone?

Sakevisual (indie English visual novel developer who made Re:Alestair) is going to make new visual novel game titled Backstage Pass

It looks pretty good, the art is... pretty nice, and they adapt game system similar to Tokimemo Girl's Side and Otometeki Love Revo...

I've been watching this since they announced it~~ Since my JAP isn't great at all and my PSP broke I gave up trying to get JAP Otome games for now, so I'm puttering around the English ones :3

It looks good, and actually Re:Alister was my first Otome game I think~ so I kinda wanna take up something else

I've been stalking this game for a while now... It looks really pro for an OELVN. Though I'm kinda disappointed how Eng developers tend to put stat-raising in their games, like, a lot!
Also heard that there'll be actual dating in the game, not just "woo" some guy and then get a date/kissing scene at the end

I really can't wait for this game, because I just love Sakevisual. I will say though, that I'm not too happy about it being voiced, hearing english in vn always made me cringe, but we will see.

Kind of agree with this, I prefer my English VNs to be not voiced (although all of my imports I prefer to be voiced... kind of silly... anyways). Still, sake visual is holding voice actor auditions so I'm hoping for quality  watch some of my anime dubbed if its good enough anyways, so *cross fingers*

^Oh you entered the vocal auditions catgirl? I wnated to but my mic quality is so poor plus I have zero confidence in those things ^^;;

I really wanna play the game though, They released a teaser for the OP. It doesn't sound bad at all.

A pet peeve I have is when the singer sings and I can't even clearly hear what they're saying. ^^ So I really like this.

I'm probably the only person who didn't like Re: Alistair++ that much. SakeVisual's stuff looks impressive, but the heavy emphasis on stat raising is a huge minus for me.

Well... lots of English visual novels tend to swing that way. I really don't know why they have to put in the stat-raising though... It just makes the game *seem* longer :/ But well... I'm just craving for otome games here and they're the only ones I can play :(No Jap for me

Well, that OP sample doesn't sound bad, so maybe I will warm up to it being voiced :3

@Takasane : Talking about warming [meows to warm up her voice] : SakeVisual was looking for voice actors for "Backstage pass".

It would have been funny to give it a try... but well.... [meows with a HEAVY French accent], I pass !

I'm quite looking forward to this one. Though Cheritz will always remain my number one favourite otome gaming company  I'm almost done Nameless and I've loved every second of it asdjfjksdf 

AHEM. But yes, Backstage Pass looks fantastic. While I'm wary of stat-raising, if the game's great otherwise, that's all that matters. I heard it was coming out early next year^^

They posted another snippet of their animated sequence and the op. song. 

Ok, I am super excited about supporting this game. The animated bits translated really well, and OMG Who the heck am I kidding I want this game on my PC NOW.

Wow it has been some time since I saw something related to this game, but it's looking even better than I thought. It's a must buy for me!  

I just saw this trailer! It looks way better then I expected. I'll definitely be buying when it comes out. Can't wait!

I know Steam doesn't seem like the right place for otome, but I think it can be, and I know that localization companies (like Aksys) are watching the industry very closely right now. If we prove that otome can be successful in English, that will open up so many doors for more games. Thank you for all the support you guys have given us already. We really appreciate it, and we're hard at work making sure it's a game you'll love.

I preordered ^o^ Nice to see more English otome games. The art is gorgeous!

Sorry for the late reply lol, but no, I didn't audition- I don't think I'm voice actress quality... but, I'm crossing my fingers that those who did audition are AMAZING

I used to always stalk and occasionally comment on Sake Visual's blog, but then I stopped after my laptop died so long ago. Then I came to see news about this game on another forum. It's excellent that they snagged STUDIO DEEN to create the opening animation. But... the singing is actually rather incomprehensible for me. Without reading lyrics, it sounds like it has something to do with... makeup?

Oh, well. Still cheering on that this game gets greenlit on Steam~ If that happens, we have been told that some of us on the forum I help mod can win codes from a competition or raffle. Not really sure what, especially when the wait for the game itself is still on.

Currently playing the early access version on Steam, and it's fantastic. Voice-acting that has been implemented so far is top notch. Artwork is beautiful. Stat-raising and overall gameplay is fun. There is much more to this than the usual "click, click, smooch" routine, and that's a good thing.

Ugh I want to play this so bad! I've been stalking their website for months. Any word on a release date yet?

My ears were bleeding because of the OP, but I've tried the Beta and i could say that this game is okay. I'm still having second thoughts on buying the game because I find the story predictable.
