Best setting for watching Anime on a PC

I have limited knowledge with media playbacks. But a kind anon has provided us instructions on how to watch anime with the best setting.

I just use Vlc I have been using it for years I have never had any issues with quality

If you take a closer look at the screenshot, VLC is a far cry in terms of quality~
But yeah, it's ment for people who just want anything instant and easy.
