Desperate need of Help

I have spent eight hours on this today and I am at my wits end. I got the psp emulator with the game connecting and working with it. I have VNR installed and have it synchronized to the game. When I play the game with VNR running the text box does not translate when I hover over the Japanese text. Its just blank like it doesn't think it is there.

PLEASE I BEG OF YOU HELP ME.

which emulator are you using ? If I remember well, PPSSPP (PSP emulator) only works with VNR for a few games.

And if you are using JPSP, you should switch (to avoid sound problems and having a thousand softwares on your computer, at least).

I had the same issue, with Hakuouki Zuisouroku, the game, PPSSPP and VNR worked, but the translator refused to recognize the text's textbox. I just gave up and tried other games. (Non-PSP ones)

I thank you so much for this response! I am glad that their are people out there willing to help. Yeah, I've been using PPSSPP, because of Starry Sky in Spring.

Why don't you just download the PC version of the game and patch it, instead of using VNR, since it has a translation already ?

(I didn't use PPSSPP or VNR when playing Starry Sky in Spring...)

I did pc now and it is a working. I didn't know that list exists but now I have more games that I can play. So that list of 64 will just work with vnr then?

Alright, so I have been tinkering with the visual novel reader and ppsspp and I have to say it is a buggy mess. I have a few questions if anyone can help.

Following the list of compatible games I get it loaded to the ppsspp, but visual novel has me editting text settings every time I load the game as if it does not know I have synced it. So, I have to do this every time to make the text reader work.

So, did you eventually manage to launch and patch Starry Sky in English ?

Yeah, I was able to to just patch in english. With using the visual novel reader I came to the conclusion that it needs a lot of more work to be able to function properly with ppsspp. 

What do you normally use?

I only have PC Otome Games, and only use PPSSPP for English Otome Games, so I can't help you more with PPSSPP and VNR...

This forum is the best Otome Game forum out there, but the only problem is that only 10 people or so have been active recently. (Well, I don't mind, since I don't like it when there is too much people)

Well, I did not expect someone from France to be fluent in English. I am not good with cliches or stereotyping I just assume people are people.

I did not know that you needed to know where certain states were located for class. What class requires that?

Currently this is the only forum that I am as school and work takes a lot of my time. I use to play games and join clans that would have forums and I have been on occasional anime forums or tech ones.

To get my anime kick with people I usually have Facebook anime group and I go to conventions.

Yup, though I'm kind of getting tired of conventions right now. The next one is in july, but I'm not sure to go... (Always the same thing)

hmm... first we had to learn the states during our last year of High school, in geography (for the French high-school diploma), and then, in college, for geography classes.
But since I'm studying Anglo-phone Languages Literature and Civilisation, I have U.S geography and U.S History, and for both we're expected to know every states and their main cities, but like most people I kind of...skipped that part but I still manage .

(I'm fluent because I'm learning English in order to become an English/French teacher somewhere in the U.S, Britain or Japan)
