Katekyo Hitman REBORN!

Yes, I like stylized titles. Ignore me. Ahem, so I noticed there are a few KHR fans here, which is awesome because I really love this series~. And because I like bishounen. Mafia makes you sexy.

Because my curiosity demands it, Did you watch the anime or read the manga or both? & Who is your favorite character(s)?

Also, even though the series is over because of the length and the differences with anime and manga stuff, if you think something might need a spoiler tag, just to be fair to everyone. :3

I've finished both the anime and manga, and um... my favorite characters are I love everyone, actually. probably Belphegor and Enma. o3o

Ya know, I was just thinking of creating a thread for this. XD

I watched all of the anime with my little sister, and I want to get into the manga but I don't really have the time as of now. My favorite characters are all of the sexy men Yamamoto, Tsuna, and I have a thing for Xanxus, and many of the other bishounen. XD I just have a thing for men in suits and uniform in general.

I figured if I waited someone would have eventually made this thread. xD

Ah yeah, the manga is really long. But Akira's style just gets better and better. And all the boys get prettier and prettier.

I'm really sad the anime ended off a few arcs to early, but oh well... they still did a good job with it.

Oh, I forgot to mention it in the original post but there is going to be a one-shot manga called Vongola XV. I'll go see if I can dig anything up on that~.

I noticed the style does get indeed better, unless it's the anime and it's a filler arc. Some of those scenes made me LOL a little too hard. XD

I'm sad it ended early but I'm happy it ended on a good note ya know? Even though the anime and the manga still left many questions open. I heard Amano kinda trolled people over a bit in the manga, but then I still haven't read it so I'll save my comments on that for later. I more or less, enjoyed most of the eye candy in the Future arc and the Varia arc the most. XD

I remember reading somewhere that that was only promo, but if it turns into something I guess I'll read it. I'm still mad they haven't revealed TYL!Tsuna's face. >>;

The animation budgets for the filler arcs. Oh... my. xD This tends to happen with most long animes, but some are worse than others. KHR wasn't too bad but... some LOLanatomy & expressions.

The manga did have a more conclusive ending with an epilogue, I guess, but I still... (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻.

The future arc was just an excuse to draw eye-candy. I refuse to accept anything else. Not complaining, I did enjoy that arc.

TYL!Tsuna is just too attractive to be drawn, obviously. (I'm really curious though...)

That is true for the ending of the manga I would think, because the anime was like the future arc is over and everybody smiles and happy, hair flow in the wind, kinda thang. XD We don't even know if what they did in the past affects their future. The OVA was hilarious though.

Seriously, the future arc had so many holes but all that TYL!man candy art, and the Varia becoming the comical relief made it bearable.

BUT STILL I wouldn't even mind him just standing next to Vongola XV, even though we'd probably all get confused because it'd just look like Tsuna and Basil. XD With sky flames.

Awesome! There are too many handsome men in this series here, jeez, I can't even pick one.I'll pick three though and have my own foursome Primo makes me extremely happy though because at least it's a somewhat small preview of what Tsuna could turn out to be. XD

So, uh, my favorite character from Reborn is Irie Shouichi... because I love sweeties just as much as tsunderes... After him my second favorite is Tsuna for exactly the same reason, and after him... his best friend for life, Enma. What can I say, those three are utterly adorable.

From the first time I saw Shouichi as a "villain," I was skeptical. How could a little wimp like him become, well, evil? So I was more than thankful that he was wrong.

And the exact same thing with Enma. Poor bubu was so misguided thanks to one certain a-hole...

I love weird, mesmerizing men, and as so Katekyo Hitman REBORN!has everything I need to get by. I absolutely adore Mukuro. Hands down that voice, the dangerous playfulness, and the eyes, yesss! Then I love Surperbi Squall, screams and all. I really like Gokudera. But Xanxus and Hibari, are like look, but Don't ever touch if you like living. Oh, it has a great plot line too!

Not gonna lie, I abuse the "kufufufu" laugh when I'm teasing my friends over Skype. They don't get the reference, but it makes me smile. xD

Oh, have you guys heard the character songs? They sing and it's magical! >w<

The thing with KHR is that the plot is so... unusual, but it's pulled off really well. The anime kind of created a few plot holes in some arcs though. Not that the manga didn't have any...

I'm about 3/4 through the manga and am planning to watch the anime after I finish it.

YES. Yes, Iida Toshinobu's voice is like velvet in your ears... it's a thing of beauty. I keep on thinking of JJ from Omerta (BL game), which ruins me taking Mukuro seriously (well, as seriously as you can take the KUFUFUFU), sometimes. Have you heard his character song? It's so funny.

Yeah, that haircut... but I have to love him through the toughest of times. It's what marriage fangirlism is all about! xP

More on topic, though, I'm continuously surprised by KHR, both in-universe and its... "vocal" fanbase. I haven't gotten into a long-runner series in a while. It's making me remember my Narutard days. I didn't think that it would become a more serious manga; always thought it would be a gag one or something. TBH, I was getting bored... then the Kokuyou Arc came along and convinced me to stick around.

The blond who is good with gadgets is called "Spanner". I haven't finished yet, but I've only heard of him. I might have to be careful where in the fandom I look, or else I'll be spoiled to all hell!

It was nice to see Irie back. I don't really remember him getting an important role in the "current" time, so I remember being surprised when he even got a mention- important at that- in the Future Arc.

I am encouraging you to go start this Onee-san thread. It could also go in General discussion, but I'd throw it into the anime one.

I agree, the Kokuyou Arc was the real turning point of the series, and even then KHR was still somewhat goofy. The worst part of the manga for me had to be what'shisface who always randomly appeared with a different gag!girlfriend. Eventually he got really annoying and I almost ripped my hair out.

Oh, Longchamp. Am I seriously the only person that was indifferent to him? I think that in terms of his gang's popularity, he was just half the problem. Everyone else was kind of meh, though I did like Pantera's design. They should have kept her~.

From what I heard, they didn't even make it into the anime. O_O Maybe it worked against Longchamp and his gang that none of them were bishies. I hate to be shallow, but given the majority of the KHR fanbase's... "priorities".
