If you could pick an anime/manga character to be your Onee-san, who would you pick?

Since us otome gamers a lot of the time talk about male characters, I was wondering how you guys feel about female characters.

It's pretty much as the title says. Who would you pick to be your Onee-san (older sister) in anime/manga and why? Reasons, images and/or links to character profiles would be appreciated.

I would pick:

I would pick Cornelia because she is a great example of an independent woman who is strong, cool, intelligent and capable. She may be a battle-hardened ruler, but she cares deeply for her men. I don't like how she can get narrow-sighted and stubborn, but nobody is perfect.

I don't mean anything discriminatory by it. His feminine way of talking, coupled by his general flamboyancy and "fashion checks" would make him a joy to hang around with.

Haven't really thought of it, but I guess it would be Aya Mikage (Ayashi no Ceres)

More because I would like to protect her (even though she would be older) but in the same time she would do her best, (not like most heroines that the only thing they do is wait to be saved)

OK, I know it says anime/manga, but she's been in both even though she originates from a game, I promise! Cynthia seems like she'd be a pretty badass onee-san because she's independent and strong, in the series she's the second strongest character, has champion status and she raised a badass dragon. Sometimes she's a bit bossy and distant, but she watches out for those who are important to her, and would give the best sisterly advice. Also, her solution to sadness is ice-cream.

Naomi Misora from Death Note.

I have a lot of respect for her, especially because how she handled Raye's death. (For anyone unfamiliar with the series, Raye was her fiancée.) She didn't mope around, she went out and even got close to exposing Kira. And she's FBI, that's pretty hardcore. I'd love to brag about how great my older sister is, haha~.

I would choose Tsukamoto Yakumo from School Rumble. In my family I am the oldest, but if I had an older sister I could easily look up to someone like her. She's a gentle person, and very considerate. The love she has for her younger sister is just sweet. To me, she would be the best choice.

Sure her taste in men would make family reunions a wee bit frightening. But, elsewise, she's sweet, supportive, intelligent... and you gotta love a momma bear one-san who would face down a psycho with a machine gun wielding only a broom for you.

I'm also the oldest in my family so I'm not sure what having an elder sister would be like, but I'm sure if she was like any of the characters listed here, she'd be AWESOME.

I never thought about it, but maybe Otae-san from Gintama, she'd teach me how to be a strong woman and defy annoying men, she has a younger brother in the anime and that's one of the reasons I can see her as a onee-san type.

Hawkeye would be a cool person to just know, sister or not.

Yeah, I really liked Hawkeye. Still do! She would have been somebody else I'd pick. Maybe not her way of training dogs, though...

Haha, hopefully they'd look more human. I'm sure KawaiiMess was joking, but I really did intend for it to be more like a personality thing than just a literal copy-pasta of the character into the real world.

If
I had to pick one, it would be Nico Robin. She and I would get along
really well since we both have gory minds and we both love history.
Also, Robin is pretty bad ass, to be able to run from the Marines and
not trust anyone since she was 8 years old o.o

No room to do damage on? Think twice. It can cause amnesia(Gintoki, Gori) and I'm sure there are still unknown side effects. It's best to run away from that dark matter, it has special evil powers xD That's why Shinpachi tries to do most of the cooking, if she were our onee-san, we would probably need to cook, but that the only bad point, nobody is perfect.

I find bad cooks to be somewhat endearing. Since I can cook, it will never be a problem. Imagine if nobody in the family could cook... :S

I would be dead by now. lol, I'm not very good in the kitchen so I usually rely on frozen dinners and jars of Nutella if I have to fend for myself... I make a mean batch of cookies though! >_<b Thank God my friends and my mom are way better at life skills than I am.

My choice would be Kyouko

Because she knows what she is doing and she is very dependable, also very strong and she is a good sister. She is not scared of sacrificing herself for her friends or people precious to her.
And, she is a badass.

My second choice would be Kirino, though!

She's independent and always speaks her mind (expect for her secret).
Also being an Eroge fan, she would be the most efficient sister one could have! You could play games with her and talk about anime non-stop. Also, she wears pretty clothes and can run really fast!
