^ Have you tried a product just for taking care of the ends of your hair? If you happen to live in Australia or can get your hands on [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]", I highly recommend it. Its ingredients are all natural, and it smells pretty nice to boot~

Of course, it's a prevention product, so it's best used after your cut off dry/split ends. It also seems to stop hair from further drying out, but I wouldn't waste the product once your hair is dry.

Failing DeLorenzo's products, I'm sure a quick Google search of "dry ends" or "split ends" treatment should yield results.

I was hoping for some natural ingredients I may have missed when I have googled other times, but no harm done. I also live in California, but useful info for Australians haha! ^^

^ I guess you can buy it online, but I wouldn't know how much the shipping would be. I'm sure DeLorenzo can't be the only brand that produces that type of product. Maybe a hairdresser can be of better help? Or a hair product specialist store?

There are gurus out there like Michelle Phan and Bubzbeauty and a couple others that give good advice.

For my dry damaged ends, I oil my scalp every other day (Mon. - Wed. - Fri. - Sat. repeat), and I judge it by the way my scalp feels, if it feels too weighed down then I skip another day. Also, I take a little extra in my palm rub it together and slide it over my hair ends. Not scrunching it in or doing like a rubbing motion. Its like you clap your oiled hands over the ends of your hair and slide it down and you wrap it with the rest of your hair. Works wonders for dry ends, My hairdresser also said that I don't need to trim as often now (keke my secret)

Simple tips to look and feel good are:
1. Being hydrated and drinking water regularly
2. Sleeping early
3. Maintaining a nutritious diet (with the occasional junk food, of course)
4. Being fit, regular fitness and working out

WARNING: THESE TIPS ARE COMING FROM A TEENAGER WHO LIKES TO WEAR LIGHT MAKEUP LIKE THE HEROINES IN OTOME GAMES! I USUALLY GO FOR THE KOREAN ULZZANG LOOK.

My Makeup Routine includes:
Generally, I keep my very simple and clean since I suffer from acne and don't want to drown and cake my face in makeup. I want to look natural and very cute/pretty for the guy I like c:

1. Using BB/CC cream is better than foundation for daily wear - lighter-feeling, dewy-looking and natural

2. Using a tinted lip colour/stain - like Revlon lip butters or balm stains - or a lip gloss, instead of lip sticks (which are too matte)

3. Using a eyebrow pencil (closest to my natural eyebrow/hair colour) and filling them in lightly

4. Slightly winged eyeliner (in black)

5. Using a eyelash curler and a lengthening mascara (which does not clump)

6. Light coloured eyeshadow (like beige, light brown or white)

5 beauty secrets you would never hear from a French woman.

You want to look like? Behold the recipe!

French women for decades exemplary beauty and style. Although there is no exaggeration , manage to be irresistible . So what's their secret?

1.They 're Minimalistries
French women are proponents of minimalism in terms of the makeup, hair and clothes. Consider the best natural styling and off the red lipstick, choose natural makeup that accentuates the facial features to focus someone in the natural beauty and not in their makeup .
Choose the basic colors like black , blue , beige and white. Since the favorites are tight jeans, baggy sweater and ballet flats , which often combine with accessories that showcase their style and give color to the rest of the ensemble.
As regards the hair, they care of it enough to be soft, shiny and healthy . Avoid excesses in color and do not expose to excessive heat and chemicals. Generally prefer more simple hairstyles.
2.Priority skincare
Prefer to invest in the future for flawless skin , rather than spent covering their every imperfection. They do not love both tanned skin in order to aim to be exposed to the sun, but even if they want , there is always a cream and that. French women move with minimal makeup because they have perfectly groomed skin, which is a priority in their daily hygiene. This is not surprising, since the French products in each neighborhood of Paris, providing comprehensive care and are the best in the world.
3.They love the midline
Eat pure butter, cheese, fresh bread and delicious pasta, which are considered rich foods, but in moderation. It has nothing to do with what they eat, but that eating small portions slowly, regularly and group enjoying their meal.

In this way an average exercise such as walking, bike ride, skiing, swimming or hiking, they are sufficient to maintain their figures. Besides doing more to spend time with others outside the home, rather than weight loss.
4.They don't break the limits
Even though Frenchwomen fun or get drunk at a party , they have self-control not to get exposed or ridicule . I will not go out sleazy like you have just woken up , or to go to the stand.
5.They accept the ravages of time
The huge amounts of anti-wrinkle creams and treatments that exist in France , give the impression that French women dread the ravages of time .
That is not the case, as those do not equate old age with the fall and continue to take care of themselves and be happy with him, even after 60 .
Even if you opt for cosmetic surgery , the results are very discreet with the sole aim to restore the natural and not exaggerate .

Beauty advices - Page 2 Empty Re: Beauty advices

Post by Ire 20/11/13, 06:51 am

At the top of my list would be sleep - and sleep early. I used to stay up until 3AM daily and wake up later in the day (thanks to my college schedule). My good complexion went out the window, even though I'd get 7 hours+ of sleep half of the time. v_v Now I sleep no later than 12-1AM at most, wake up around 7 and it's made a huge difference.

I drink water whenever I eat something or drink something sweet, and I always have a bottle of water to drink/refill during the day.

For the skin - I've used The Body Shop's Tea Tree products because my nose and forehead are oily, then apply the Vitamin E day cream on areas that look dry. Nivea cream would do the job too. :D

In general I think The Body Shop products work really well! I introduced it to my friend, who has been using products from Sephora and she agrees.

I've had pimples a few times before and my doctor prescribed me a topical gel called "erythromycin-benzoyl peroxide". My pimples were very mild and I found it to work nicely, though for my friend it wasn't as effective.

One of my roommates said that eating sesame daily would improve the longevity of your hair. Both she (~40ish?) and her mom (~70ish??) follow this and neither have much grey hair, if at all. @_@
