Hatoful Boyfriend console release!

Not really sure if this can go here but, apparently Hatoful Boyfriend (aptly described as an avian dating sim) is supposed to be coming to a PS4 or Vita near you, next year.

So I was on Sony's blog earlier this morning and saw [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] article. I was wondering how you guys feel about it. I know many people have probably already played this one and I'll be getting it on release...but I ain't gonna lie, I was like "But what about Amnesia? "

Although, this could be a great opportunity as well. Maybe we'll see more releases like this in the future. Soooo, will anyone else be getting it? Upset about their choice of consoles? Happy? Undecided? Gassy? What's your opinion?

hmmm... I don't think I'll be buying this.

Of course, it's a good thing to have VNs translated in western  countries but this one "doesn't sell enough dream" imo.

It takes a lot to play Otome Games for the first time (It's a great step when you're not into otoge), and I think it takes even more to play an otoge with pigeon love interests...
They should have tried with something more "mainstream" I'd say, which everyone could comprehend.

Well, let's see what it will become of it. As for me, I don't want to spend my money on such a game, which I could get for free a month or two after the release (Let's save our money for games like Basckstage Pass xDD)

Personally, I agree with you. Not sure why Sony decided this title out of all of the games fans have been begging for. I'm not sure how popular this game was on Steam but I'm not sure if it will be worth it. It should be pretty cheap, though.

I've heard a ton about it and even listened to the drama cds but I've never actually played it before. I'm hoping the story is like the one in the drama cd. If so, that will make up for the weird premise.

I'll still get it because I usually buy the otome games that are released here. I'm even buying Sweet Fuse on Vita though I already own it on PSP. I'll basically get anything but I draw the line at English voicing. Probably just me, but the English dub never seems to get the same feel as the Japanese.

If the pricing is the same as the Steam version, somewhere around $9.99, I don't mind shelling it out if it shows support for the genre. Maybe I'll be able to play one of the games I was recently drooling over on Otomate's site someday... Can someone say I DOLL U! Or KLAP!! Or Modern Nostalgie!!!
