Best Anime Opening

And to add to that, which anime has the best ending?

First ones I think of right now are,

Opening: Shingeki no Kyojin, season 1

Ending: Eden of the East

Edit: Whether it's the songs or the animation or both it's all up to you to decide which anime has the best opening/ending

I'd love for you to tell me!^_^

Are we just talking songs, or animation, or combo of both?  I'll go with the assumption of both.

It's both! Sorry I probably need to clarify that hehehe And I agree, FMA: Brotherhood's openings are pretty amazing 

I love the music in Valvrave the Liberator opening. Nana Mizuki x T.M.Revolution. Need I'd say more?

The visual and animation of the ending is absolutely beautiful. Even the song is amazing, I tear up a bit whenever I listen to this song >_<

I'm not much into the shounen genre but I might try FMA...I'll start with Brotherhood right?

For me the best one and the one I will ALWAYS love no matter what is Nee from Hiiro no Kakera! it's not the anime that made me love this song so much since it's not one of the bests, but the song itself!!!And ofcourse  Fujita Maiko too! <3

YES, start with Brotherhood, it's more accurate with the manga than the first FMA.

Tank from Bebop, man. Hands down. I know it's the most obvious answer, but... it's obvious for a reason. That jam is funky.

At the moment my favorite opener is the first season opener from Attack on Titan..

I also love a lot of the Bleach openers..  the music is always good but my favorite in terms of animation are Seasons 1 & 4 just because I love seeing the characters in normal clothes

Oh and can't forget..  High School Of The Dead opener, Durarara opener 1 and the Baccano opener..

Brotherhood definitely has the better plot, but I would watch at least episode 3 of the first series first. I think Brotherhood kinda glazed over the bond the brothers had with their mom, which was a shame. I mean it was still there, but I thought the first series went a little more in depth with it.

Also, Free! does have an awesome op/ed.  

It's entertaining seeing "misleading" ops, in the case of Free! and Watamote, if anyone's paid attention to that. Apparently Tomoko had a Diabolik Lovers poster in a previous episode.
But Lovely Complex has to be my favorite of all time.

yes, seeing your favorite characters in normal clothes is like a treat if the anime constantly breaks your heart

Oooh Lovely Complex! I agree the opening is so cute!
but also Love Com lifts my spirits and I think it's the one of only manga/anime that would make me so emotional.
I mean do you know how many times my heart went freakin' dokidoki when reading the manga? and how many times it made me cry? like literally cry. 
I'm sorry if I'm weirding you out

When I finished the first series I was like on the ground, in tears, like my heart ached. When I watched Brotherhood (note: I never read the manga at before Brotherhood) I was sooo confused that I had to make sure to read the manga. 
And what do you know when you read the canonically correct manga everything makes sense now.

Anyway I agree that the first had more depth.

I was expecting more swimming action in free too, I re watched all the episodes again and realize it was indeed too relaxed   It's more of a show where cute boys are doing cute things
