Hi guys

Hello everyone, I'm Blue_Star. I've been a visual novel fan (kinda) since I played Fire Emblem when it was first released in the 'States. (I've been a video game fan even longer, since I was 5.) Since then, I've discovered that I like RPGs that give you options to win over some of the characters; and I particularly like it when the player gets to control a girl and you get to win over the boys. Then, years later, I discovered otome games. And I was hooked. :'D

Welcome to the forums! What otome games have you played? Got a favorite?

Thank you for the welcome! I actually haven't played too many otome games despite being obsessed with them, but here are a few (some of them are RPGs):

Harvest Moon, Girl's side (GBA)- I picked the Doctor, but all the guys are cute.

P3P- I thought the girl's side would be really half-***'d, but it was really awesome. Phenomenal story + cute guy options = win.

(P)lanets - Cute, I liked this game. Ryuu is adorable. x]

Dandelion: Wishes Brought to You: My most recent purchase, and it was totally worth it. It was awesome. I love Jieun. <3333

I'm currently playing Re: Alistair+, which seems pretty good so far.

I've played a lot of RPGs. A lot. XD It's hard to keep track of them all, but my favorite series is the Dragon Quest series; Other RPGs that stick out in my mind are Golden Sun, Tales of series (some, not all), Final Fantasy (some not all), Grandia II, Skies of Arcadia, Lunar, and Fire Emblem. I like my old school games. x]

Pixel horror RPG games? You mean like Ib and the Witch's House, right? Those are awesome. Especially Corpse Party.

but I do love the story line of corpse party! the Witches House don't even have a happy ending! I actually felt sorry for Ellen who helped Viola

@Rozelie: Awesome, Ib is also my favorite. Corpse Party (the new one) would be, if the saves weren't so far away from each other. :/ And yeah, the Witch's House had a bum ending. I liked it way more than Mad Father though. XDD

HM-wise, I actually haven't played too many. The PlayStation version, the GBA remake of the PlayStation version, and the girl's version of that. XD I also played the the first GameCube Harvest Moon (don't remember what it was called), Save the Homeland for the PS2, and a bit of Rune Factory for the Wii (I had to return it since it's the library's copy). I love all of them. <3 Which ones have you played?

ooh i know yeah... the saves are so far away
I don't actually think that Mad Father has a good ending...
cause in the end, she still turns like her father :/
