Basically a port of the original game with a few extras.
I played the PSP version, so I doubt I'll play this one...

I'm sure it'll be nice to have on some console that doesn't whirr constantly, and maybe the visuals will look better. And it seems to be only about $30, but is that the same as the PSP's price? Still, thats a bit less for a Vita game, though I'm sure a bunch of people are going to get the Amnesia and Hakuouki bundle together.

Importing this, will be here in a week or two, will report back with impressions  looking for a good guide though since my Japanese is.... questionable at best (ha)

Haven't played the PSP version (and probably won't since it's getting harder to find) so I might pick up this along with Diabolik Lovers if I ever decide to get a PSV.

I actually bought this when it was released, despite having played and completed the PSP edition.
The added extras weren't much in terms of content--but playing jan ken or table hockey with the possible romances was actually rather fun! 
Ukyo was very difficult to beat at hit and cover jan ken! He was just so fast!    
Hmm. They also added a function in the CG Gallery that amused me to no end. It gained you the trophy "タッチマスター" (or, "Master Touch"); certain CGs had a certain number of voices to accompany them and it was your task to find them on the screen by touching various places (like the face, hands, arms etc.). It was time consuming but quite a bit of fun. 

Overall the quality was much nicer too--both the audio visual aspects. The sprites were more clear-cut and frankly, high definition. The audio (especially when using headphones) was just wonderful. The music hasn't changed, admittedly--the game just pretty much jumped consoles. But... the V.Edition was well worth the purchase! I definitely suggest people do get it if they love Amnesia because it really adds a whole new level to the experience to see it so clear and pretty, ahah--!!

I read "added extras" and perked up. Then I read "weren't much in terms of content" and deflated. XD I should stop getting excited before I finish sentences.

I would like to chip in about the V edition. I haven't played the Amnesia series on the PSP but I got the V edition instead to save money, and I was quite pleased from what I got. I'm not done with all the routes yet, but the as elucifexeia said, the graphics and sound were improved compared to the PSP version. The mini games weren't too tough either, and it was a good reliever from the scary parts of the story. (like ikki's bad ends and yandere.....you know.) 

The touching system was really fun too! I haven't got to do all of them yet, but it's kinda fun to actually touch them around  like that.  The touch system of the Vita also helped as I often get lazy to use the circle button, overall it was good. Although, I would like to ask, is the "Memories" section new or was it in the PSP version?

Now that this is out in English I finally decided to give it a go. So far the experience has been incredibly fun. I didn't know if I would like a game where the heroine barely speaks and I don't know her thoughts, but Orion's commentary is epic! I've finished Shin and Ikki's routes and never felt like I was forcing myself to complete anything. Both routes were enjoyable. I hope I have this much fun the whole way through.

Good to know someone is enjoying it! I'm not sure how I'm going to feel about the heroine also...but I really like the boys and Orion after watching the anime, so I want to play!

I ended up buying the Limited Edition with the steam code. They said they would email it, but I haven't received it yet. Anyone do this, and have an idea how long it takes to get the email?

Edit: Got it today, and started playing. Woohoo!
