Cleaning up text...?

So... I want to have a clean file with lines the game characters say, but when I extract a script file and open it in CT or word or writer it looks like this: japanese text *random crap* japanese text *more crap* etc etc

I'm thinking about Amnesia right now, but in the end I would like to hear a general tip how to deal with this...? How do I get rid of all the unnecessary stuff?

Using notepad++ you can record a macro.
You can use "Search and replace" to replace the repetitive random crap of the script and once you stop recording the macro you now have a one-click script cleaner!

Yeah, I've been using macros, but they doesn't help me much... Fortunately, I've found someone incredibly smart to help me out
