What's your favorite Otome Game?

I can't really say that Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side is my favorite otome game, as it is the only one I've played (unless you count harvest moon more friends of mineral town. LOL)

Anyways, I've played 1st and 2nd Tokimeki and I kind of liked the 1st game's plot better. But there really is cuteness overload of guys :face:

I really melt during some cg's and some lines that just come out of nowhere from those cute 2D guys

Well, I'm looking for more games to try and all the thread I've read here are helpful, thank you =D
I just want to hear about everybody's fave !

Also, I'm looking for more games, preferably for NDS console, as I really like that I could bring it everywhere.

My favorite one's are Hakuouki, Uta no prince-sama, starry sky (all seasons) and Yo-Jin-Bo! ^_^

When it comes to romance in games my favourites are actually outside of the otome world.

My favourite game ever is Dragon Age: Origins. Romance isn't the goal of the game, hahaaa noooosiree, but it definitely has my favourite romance I've ever played in a game. I'm pretty sure most people here will know it, since you're all romance lovers. I generally try and play any game with an option to create friendship or more between the characters. I love RPGs so the more detail and stuff I can control about my character the better. And srsly look at this bby; [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

But in the world of Otome, I guess if someone came up to me in a scary mask and bellowed, "YE CAN ONLY PLAY ONE OTOME FOR THE REST OF YER DAYS!" I would probably pick...

THIS IS HARD. I'll join you and say Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 1st Love. Because Himuro Reiichi, and no more needs to be said.

If I could get passed the whole unable to understand Japanese thing I'd probably find something more awesome but for now, yep, TMGS1L and it's beautiful translators.

Hakuouki,I really enjoy the game as I am big fan of samurais and japanese history so it was really nice to have a game like that.I loved all the endings,but Souji's bad one just gave me the feels.

I've played most of the harvest moons! including More Friends of Mineral Town! xD

TMGS3 is now on my favourit list with A2, Frozen Essence and I forget the rest of my otome list

I dofl when I saw the dandelion cg and heard his reasoning why he is scared of them x'D His coments on his cgs, some of them are pretty hilarious xD "I was found out?! ꉺ_ꉺ I thought my disguise was perfect." I haven't played other routes yet, but I expect something good in Luka, Kouichi, Niina and the 3p routes :3 (though I'll wait for the translation before doing Kouichi and Niina x3. I can't understand anything with all the slang e_e)

XP When I play TMGS I don't always try to go after all the routes, I suck at getting the best friend ending

I've been hearing a lot about Hakuouki! From what I've heard it's great, I wanna try it sometime. Too bad otome games are generally hard to come by here, so I rely on the internet

I don't have a DS, so I tried the emulator for tokimeki. But, all the sounds were really robotic sounding and the voices were all messed up :S If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know!

Anyways, my absolute favourite otome games that I've played so far would be:
- Dandelion Wishes Brought to You
- The Second Reproduction
- Hakuouki Demon of the Fleeting Blossom
- In Your Arms Tonight (Voltage)

Other ones that I've really loved as well are:
- X-Note
- A Troll's Fairy Tale
- Date Warp
- The Royal Trap (the CGs were gorgeous, but I felt the game could have been much better)

Now, I'm looking forward to upcoming English translation patches for some awesome Japanese otome games. Super grateful to the people who are taking the time to do them ^^

Well hakuouki is in english and is for Psp,you can always order it with amazon.

Kai was the most difficult one for me cause he only comes every summer!

I've enjoyed all the otome games I played so far, but my favorite one right now would probably be Dandelion: Wishes Brought to You. (Jieun <3333) And I also liked Ouran quite a bit, even if it really wasn't the greatest. XDDD Can't wait for the translation of the DS version.

It's not an otome game per se, but I really, really liked P3P the girl's side. The boys were full of win and awesome. Especially Akihiko. <3

The cgs and routes and plot was just to die for 8D

Uhh, what emulator are you using
No$gba's sounds is okay, you can't rotate it though so it will be really hard to play. Desmume's sound can be rigged, actually both can be rigged.. though I think desmume's very slow

I'm using Desmume. I guess both emulators aren't that good then? What about you?

I'm using Desmume. I guess both emulators aren't that good then? What about you?

I have a DSi so it isn't really an issue for me.. but No$gba is really good, the sounds isn't robotic much, but like what I've said before, you can't rotate it like desmume. :scratch: the downside of emulators ;\

Yeah, I wouldn't like to play the game with my head turned upside down the whole time.. LOL
I guess I can't play the tokimeki games then.. unless they make the emulators better or something
