Blood Lad

Anyone watched it? I thought it was brilliantly done, can't wait for a second season.

But Amee..it's ecchi  

I started watching it because I had seen the manga in Barnes & Noble and thought the art style was interesting, but once I got into the anime, I saw the "same face syndrome" going on and haven't really kept up with it.
But I reaaaalllly like Staz, but I also see the self-mockery there since we're basically just like him with our little obsessions over Japan.

Just plaster "sushi" on everything and wear a boa with it. You'll be fine.

Lol, ecchi isn't that big of a deal and to me the ecchi seems more of a mockery of fan service since everybody's reaction is kinda like, not a fuck is given.

I think you're completely wrong about the same face syndrome to be honest. Other than families sharing similar features, I don't really see it. And it's reasonable for family to look alike.

I love the characters. xD The three siblings are so great and I don't think I have a single character I find annoying or dislike. They all have a perk to them and they're all enjoyable to watch/read.

I find Staz's otakuness pretty funny though that dies down a little more as the plot is being revealed. The scene when he does kamehameha was just too brilliant.

The mangaka makes the series pretty refreshing and brings a lot of original ideas compared to other mangas that share the similar story idea of a manga like Blood Lad.

I loved this show! I just finished it a couple days ago. I watched it all in one day, I couldn't stop! Staz is hilarious, and I'd watch it just for him. Disappointed there were only 10 episodes. I'd love another season, but I'll start reading the manga now also.
