Your first otome game?

The first otome game I played is.. Number Days Sim Date by pacthesis   I just saw it on Internet and I tried it. And it's GOOD!

The first otome game I played is yojinbo.  I had so much fun playing that game and from that time on Im addicted!!!

I remember watching the Amnesia and Hiiro no Kakera animes, and when i found out they were games, I was so excited! Sadly, I haven't played either, but I did find other games. First game I played was re: Alistair, and I thought it was so much fun! I played a couple more I liked, but when I played (P)lanets, that really got me hooked. And now I am forever addicted.

my very first otome game was actually pirates in love by voltage inc. do they still count as otome? heheh. if not then it's hakuoki: demon of the fleeting blossom

Played that game ages ago back when I didn't know much about Japanese. I honestly don't remember much either except that it was... Kind of boring and jesus was it depressing. The game was too long but hey, it's Idea Factory. Love the art. That was the reason I even played that game.

RE: Alistair was my first otome game too!  I remember my husband happened across it and told me he thought I'd like it..  and I've been sucked in to the Visual Novel world ever since

I think it was Re:Allistair or Always Remember Me. For some reason, I honestly can't remember how I stumbled upon otome games :O I was just searching online and BAM.. A year and a half later, I'm obsessed xD

My first one was probably Hatoful Boyfriend. I was a bit...confused with the fact it was an otome game about birds.

I believe it was Hoshi no Oujo which I played almost 10 years ago lol.

My first otome game was Yo-Jin-Bo c:

It was already English-patched, so it was very easy for me to begin with.

My very first otome-like game was actually Other Age by Zeiva. I found it accidentally while browsing Newgrounds many, many years ago.

I think my first one was (P)lanets.

My first otome was one of Pacthesis' first dating sims on Devianart, years and years ago. Anime Sim Date 2.0, I think. 
It got me interested in otome, and at the time I couldn't find many other ones.  
I'm glad there are so many now .

Hm? My first Otome game that I actually owned? I think it's Princess Diaries or a Harvest Moon game. The Harvest Moon one frustrated me..but once I got into a few other Otome games, I got hooked. My favorite one played was the Hakuouki games for the PSP and 3DS.

I don't even know that you could be a girl and pursue a boy instead, so I was really surprised and liked the idea~

It was back then, when the idea of Visual Novel and Ren'Py is not widely known. guess how long I have been lurking in the visual novel community
Otome is not the first VN genre that I played though~

My first otome game, if I remember correctly, was Starry Sky ~in Spring~

At the time I played a lot of eroge Visual Novels, so I was super excited with the idea of finally playing as a girl  

 The first otome game I played was The Royal Trap and Dandelion, both cause I started playing both at the same. 

I think my first to take my otome free eyes was "My Candy Love"  but that was forever ago (MAN THAT ENERGY AND THE BULLY AMBER WERE SO DANG ANNOYING.. please excuse my rage jk..) and oh I also played a ton of flash ones forever ago if that'll  count *blushies* after that I can remember some but i have literally lost track of how many otome games/ VN  I've played..

I think my first game was... Pacthesis' games on DA? I can't remember which one, probably the Wonderland one...

RELOOKING back..I think mine was Princess Debut. However, the first true Otome games are Hakuouki, Second Reproduction, and a few other online ones. O-o

Oh dear. I feel really old in the otoge scene for saying this but I played Angelique as my first otoge. That or La Corda. Prior to that I was introduced into romance in gaming via Harvest Moon on the GBC.

Doujin Otome game.. hahahahha...
